RAFFLE TERMS & CONDITIONS

The intent of this raffle is to raise funds towards the purchase and training of an assistance dog through North Star Foundation.

ELIGIBILITY: This raffle is open to legal residents of the 50 United States who are at least 13 years of age. Raffle ticket managers and raffle organizers are not eligible to receive prizes. Minors must obtain the consent of their parent or legal guardian prior to participating.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE: During the period 10/10/07 to 12/7/07 (the "Raffle Period"), raffle tickets may be purchased for $5.00 apiece from a designated ticket manager, or may be requested via email by clicking here. Tickets only available while supplies last.

WINNER SELECTION/PRIZES: A total of thirty-seven (37) prize winners will be selected on or about 12/10/07 (the “Drawing Date”) by the raffle organizer in one random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Raffle Period. Participants need not be present to win. Prizes will be awarded according to the order listed below:

PRIZES/ODDS/MISCELLANEOUS: Odds of winning any prize will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. If for any reason there are any prizes not awarded after the drawing, the remaining prizes will be randomly awarded via a second chance drawing from amongst all eligible entries received. Limit one prize per ticket. No more than the actual number of prizes set forth in these Terms & Conditions will be awarded. Raffle tickets may be purchased by more than one person, however if a ticket stub with more than one name on it is selected as a winner, the raffle organizer shall award the prize to only one of the individuals identified on the stub. The raffle organizer is not responsible for any disputes which may arise between different persons purchasing one ticket. By purchasing a ticket(s), all participants agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions and to the decisions of the judges, which shall be final and binding in all respects, and further agree that the judges and raffle organizers and all of their respective family members shall have no liability and will be held harmless from any liability, loss, injury or damage to any participant or any other person or entity, including personal injury or death to entrant or any other person or damage to personal or real property due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, including travel or activity related thereto or participation in this raffle. Prizes are awarded "as is" without any warranty or guarantee from the raffle organizer. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees on the prizes (if any) shall be subject to the manufacturer's terms therefore, and winners agree to look solely to such manufacturer(s) for any such warranty and/or guarantee. In the event that anyone under the age of 18 wins a prize, the applicable prize will be awarded to his or her parent or legal guardian.
